Kickball Coach version 3.0 is in review and will be released soon! The biggest new feature is statistics, but there are lots of UI improvements, support for new screen sizes, jersey numbers and more.
The most requested feature since launch by far has been player statistics and it took a while to get to UI right, but we’re happy with the results and think you will be too!

Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Oct. 15, 2015 — Beckersoft, Inc., today released Kickball Coach on the App Store for iPhone®, iPad® and iPod touch®. Kickball Coach creates coed kicking and fielding lineups for kickball, softball or baseball.
Creating lineups by hand for coed kickball is cumbersome and error prone. Kickball Coach alleviates this burden by creating custom lineups in seconds. “Kickball Coach is clutch,” said Karen Williams, Team Captain, Turn Down For What, WAKA, FL St Johns league. “It lets me pre-game with the team without having to worry about the lineup, and I know it’s always going to be a good one because it keeps track of everything without me having to do it.”
Kickball Coach strategically orders your team’s kicking order and assigns players to the best field position available while ensuring that the required number of males and females play each inning.
Kickball Coach is available on the App Store for $1.99. Kickball Coach is designed for iPhone®, iPad® and iPod touch®. Kickball Coach requires iOS 8.0 or newer.

We’re not letting up! Kickball Coach v1.0 is still waiting for review and pending the initial release, but that’s not stopping work on v1.1. The next update has started internal review and will be available for external testers after review by Apple. This first beta of v1.1 doesn’t have all of the features that will go into the final release, but it’s already too good to keep out of beta tester’s hands! There are user interface simplifications, additional configuration options and overtime innings. In v1.1 you will be able to configure the maximum number of players per inning and have a different number of min and max players in overtime. Player substitutions are planned for this release and depending on time, we have a lot of other really great things in the works. If they don’t make the cut, don’t worry, we’re going to keep the updates coming! Stay tuned for more!

Kickball Coach was pulled from review to fix some bugs in the lineup algorithm last week, but now it’s back in review and better than ever! I know how anxious you all are, but the delay has really improved things. There are some new settings and easter eggs, but the algorithm improvements are really where it’s at.
We have a lot going on right now…while we wait for review we’re trying to spread the word, gearing up for a really fun launch event, working on an update that will handle circuit championships and the feature request list is growing like crazy. There’s lots of work to do, but the kickball community is really awesome and we’re excited to be a part of it.
